Photos - Concerts and Events

On Friday June 26, students from Blackheath Public School, Leura Public School and Springwood High School performed at a festival of music in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. It was a very exciting day with 3 hours of rehearsal and then the performance in the evening. Thanks to Susan Walker and Liz Riley for helping backstage on the day.

Nearly 1000 students from public schools across NSW performed in our Mimosa concert and there were 3 other concerts just like ours on other nights - a huge festival of music! The performance was wonderful with beautiful string playing as well as a combined item with 700 recorders. Congratulations to all the students involved in this great event.
