On Thursday, August 11, the Blackheath and Leura Violin Ensemble played at the Sydney Opera House in the Festival of Instrumental Music - Mimosa Concert. The String Orchestra was made up of approximately 200 students from schools across the state. The Orchestra played beautifully and the audience went wild. The finale with orchestra, jazz band and 700 recorders was just sensational!
