Did you know? From the 1st of May 2010 the law in NSW will require all self-employed people who work with children to undergo a Working with Children check. A certificate is issued by the Commission for Children and Young People after the Police check is passed. Very surprisingly, up until this point, such a check was not compulsory. However, I have always gone off to the local police station and had my own Police checks done regularly.
